This is one of my favourite K-Dramas. The story line is very down-to-earth & it is very enjoyable ^_^

My Lovely Sam Soon/My Name Is Kim Sam Soon http://wiki.d-addicts.com/My_Name_is_Kim_Sam-Soon It was released in 2005 & was screened on 8TV somewhere last year (if I’m not mistaken). I watched it last year & it really got me hooked juz by watching the first episode.

The story is about a 30-year-old overweight bad-tempered not so pretty pattisier named Kim Sam Soon who is a firm believer of love. By chance she was employed by a 27-year-old handsome rich restaurant owner,Hyun Jin Hun; whose mother owns a top five-star hotel in Seoul. Jin Hun proposed a deal with Sam Soon to pretend as his girl friend so his mother would not force him to match-make. Sam Soon agrees because she needs money to save her family house. When the story expands, you get to see Jin Hun’s ex & the dillema of choosing between 2 girls.

Over all the drama is very enlightening & go watch it if you haven’t watched it yet ^_^

 Visited Window of the World, ShenZhen in May 2006… I know I know, should have posted the pictures earlier, but as usual each time I wanted to post it, there would be something else occurring at the same time, sigh…. Nevertheless, here are some of the pictures I took when touring the place. Only one word that I can use to describe it… AMAZING

Notre Dame, Paris…. Was in Paris May 2002. The view from the Eiffel Tower is really spectacular & Notre Dame is beyond words to describe ^_^

Niagara Falls, Canada… you get soaked juz by standing there but at the same time it was like having cooling misty effect ^_^

Pyramids & Sphinx of Giza, Egypt & The Grand Canyon, US.

As it was raining & time-limited, there were still many places I did not get the opportunity to explore, sigh….

Recently made a trip to Sabah with my friends (18/4-23/4). The trip was tiring cos we made full use of our six days there - conquering Mount Kinabalu (and cursing myself all the way to the peak for the agony that I paid so much for), nearly drowned in Sg. Padas during White Water Rafting, parasailed the blue sky with a magnificent view of sea (scary initially hehehe) and scuba-rode (it is a motor-bike vehicle that takes you to the sea-sorta like a submarine) in the Manukan Island with a beautiful view of the underwater corals & fishes (felt like the fishes were looking at me as if I was in the aquarium, hehehe)

They overtook us when we were hiking up the mountain and we bumped into them again as they were making their way down the mountain - we weren’t even half-way to Laban Rata! Talk bout speed & stamina!

Finally we reached Laban Rata after a ‘painful’ 5 hours hike!                   

Woke up early morning the next day @ 2am to make our remaining 2.7km to the peak, sigh…

Nevertheles, I made it… with the help of our guide who was practically dragging me to the peak, hehehe

The unexpected thing was bumping into friends - juz like a mini-reunion! The world is really small after all!

A nite out @ Beach Street with new friends. The live band was very good… nice place, good music. Lucky KK fellows! 

Though the trip was tiring, it was worth-while, esp has been working without a break for such a long time. For now, there won’t be another mountain-hiking for me.. ever.. well unless under certain circumstances, hehehe
